Do we want to set aside time to do an assessment on Friday?
I say we give "it" to them on Friday morning so they can look it over and think about it. We have plenty of time for them to complete it (lunch and lab time) in the afternoon.
Do we want to have any kind of ongoing or "per session" assessment?
Maybe just an assessment at the end - too many assessments can be annoying for participants. Just my two cents.
Paper or digital?
''I say digital and we could use a Google Docs Form to have the responses sent to one of our email addresses. Would be quick and easy. ''

Wrap-up Meeting Notes
Using NING seemed to be a great success. Participants seemed to be engaged in making posts as well as making it easier to make comments on others' posts. Seemed to be less confusion about what site we wanted them to be working on.
Monday
- Setting the Stage: make sure we define what this should be - setting expectations for the big picture
- Digital Literacy I and II - need to have all other sessions referring back to this
- Google Docs - need to reinforce this throughout the week
Tuesday
- Having less of the UBD and more group work seemed to work just fine with this group. Need to remember to talk about the overarching goals of UBD
Creating Effect Assessments: having them read the JBMurray/Madress article over lunch didn't work - need to have them do as homework.
- Speaker: OIT Rep - be more clear on what we want from them - maybe invite Karl or Gary
- Lunch - no pizza! or less pizza and more salad!
- Lab Time - very effective to work with them individually to set up their elive. Make sure they configure using the UAF instance rather then the Elive.com site
- PLE: Flickr - maybe do activity
- Speaker: hard to show UAS wiki - needed more of an introduction to what was going to be talked about
- Elive I and II: used prepared examples, assign DT member to individual groups before they spread out. Had issues with ppts not uploading as presentations
Friday
- Speaker - too much time in second life
- Capstone: don't need to talk about strengths - need to tie weaknesses to a goal
General
- Need a session on copyright
- Print binder material all at once
- Room too hot
- Social Bookmarking was missed
- not enough Bb time
- Alumni Presentations were a hit in general. Just need to be clear on what we want them to do. I think the blog presetation worked really well because we had two different uses for the same tool.
Comments about iTeach2 2009 Participants were asked what they were hoping to get out of the advanced iTeach and here are some topics: how to assess work, how to get students to communicate outside of class, how to get student to interact between each other, how to manage group projects, Speech Communications: how to create a live experience, Online labs: lab kits are expensive and time consuming to manage, measuring results has to be more then typing on a keyboard, how to post large files and share them.
